    In 2011, Manitoba Hydro opened its state-of-the-art High Voltage Test Facility (HVTF) in Winnipeg.   • MHI Employees Raise over $1,000 for Nepal

    MHI employees raised over $1,000 for the Nepal Red Cross Society (NRCS). Every year, MHI chooses a charity in a region we work in to give back to the community. This year, staff raised the funds through a ping pong tournament and lunch fundraiser. The NRCS is the largest humanitarian organization in Nepal. The society aides in war and disaster relief, health services, and community development.

  • MHI's Team in Guyana Supports local LIONS Club

    MHI’s project team in Guyana made a personal monetary donation to the LIONS Club in Georgetown to support 2 local orphanages. The donation was used to purchase gift bags containing personal hygiene supplies, and other items for the boys and girls living at the orphanages. Ian Page and Kassem Harb from MHI’s team visited the orphanages to hand out the gift bags to the children.
