KKMC Transition Project - Cooling Equipment Component

MHI has been subcontracted by Link Resources, to assist NTCC (National TriGeneration CHP Company) with taking over the ownership of the generating station and cooling plant at the King Khalid Military Complex (a large military base in northern Saudi Arabia), and the responsibility for the cooling plants at various large commercial buildings in Saudi Arabia. In the first phase of the project, MHI is conducting a review of the operations and the maintenance program for the cooling equipment used to cool the National Commercial Bank (NCB) facility in Riyadh, and a similar facility in Jeddah. The assessment will determine what gaps exist between the existing Preventative Maintenance program and the current industry standards. MHI will then recommend ways in which those gaps can be closed, and how to better manage the overall maintenance program.

The next phase of the project will be to conduct a similar assessment for the generating station and cooling plant used to supply the KKMC base.
