Governor Training

MHI provided servicing support and training to Northwest Territories Power Corporation (NTPC) staff on the maintenance of Woodward Governors. The topics included:

• Governor disassembly, inspection and reassembly which would include PMG and associate switches
• Governor calibrating and testing
• Governor commissioning, before returning to service
• Parts condition and evaluation
• Trouble shooting scenarios
• Governor re-commissioning
• The transient charting
• The gain adjustment to achieve optimum stability
