ALSTOM-ESCA Power System Control and Dispatch Project

MHI provided Senior Power Dispatcher/System Operator, to ALSTOM ESCA for the purposes of providing On-Site Support Services to ENRON Capital and Resources (ECT).

MHI provided services that involved the following:

• Control Area Operations consistent with NERC/SERC operation policies
• Assistance in preparing for ECT control area audit
• Interface with plant operations and power scheduling as it relates to EMS system administration
• System Operator Training and mentorship
• Support ALSTOM ESCA and ECT in system setup, configuration, and maintenance operations
• Other control areas and/or system operations activity necessary for ECT to accomplish its commercial and technical objectives
• Interface with the ALSTOM ESCA Project team: depending on tasks, this interface may include coordination and direction from the ALSTOM ESCA Project Manager
