Technical Assistance - Maintenance Resource Management Systems

The purpose of the project is to assist New York Power Authority (NYPA) to fully and effectively implement their Maintenance Resource Management System, by providing professional mentoring, guidance and facilitation services to the plants’ O&M Management Organizations.

The project was centred on the Niagara Plant and Lewiston Pumped Storage Plant (Total Capacity 2,600 MW). Through various fact finding site visits and training and review sessions with site management and O&M staff, MHI facilitated process improvement in the use of maintenance management systems, practices and procedures.
