Power Quality Training

As a component of the DfID funded Power Sector Reform Project in Madhya Pradesh, India, MHI provided power quality training workshops to the Madhya Pradesh State Electricity Board. The training sessions were provided to engineers from the MP Eastern Region Distribution Company in Jabalpur and the MP Central Region Distribution Company in Bhopal.

The training topics included the basics of power quality, types of power quality issues, causes of degradation, tools for monitoring power quality, and mitigative actions that can be taken to enhance power quality.

MHI was responsible for developing training material, delivering training sessions in three locations throughout Madhya Pradesh, and small group meetings with MPSEB power quality specialists.
