Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited Study Tour

In June, 2010, MHI hosted a delegation of 7 engineers from India's Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (HPPCL) for a tour of Manitoba Hydro's facilities and to meet with their Canadian counterparts. This is the second HPPCL delegation that has come to Manitoba with the intent of having a first-hand look at Manitoba Hydro's utility operations. The trip included visits to generating stations located on Nelson River in the north of the Province, Manitoba Hydro Place, and the new MHI offices and presentations from various divisions within the utility. MHI Study tours have been proven to be an effective way to showcase Manitoba Hydro capabilities.
