Assessment of Training Programs at the Volta River Authority

MHI recently completed a project with the Volta River Authority (VRA) in which an assessment of VRA’s Engineer and Technician Engineer Training Programs was conducted. Following the assessment, MHI recommended an action plan for VRA to improve the training program for its operations and maintenance personnel. A workshop was conducted which introduced select VRA staff to the idea of formally defining its Work Management Cycle Processes. MHI’s efforts helped the VRA to significantly improve the capacity of personnel at the generation plants.
