Hydropower Rehabilitation Training

MHI hosted seven hydropower electromechanical engineers for a period of six months to undergo intensive hands-on training in hydropower rehabilitation. The work took place at Manitoba Hydro’s Pine Falls Generating Station on the Winnipeg River, where three of six units were re-runnered and up-rated. The training was intended to prepare VRA staff for the rehabilitation of VRA’s Akosombo Hydropower Station on the Volta River.
