Line Fault Locator Training Services

Manitoba Hydro developed a commercially available DC Line Fault locator, used by utilities that have DC Transmission lines as part of their grid. In conjunction with the development of this LFL, MHI provided training to a company in Germany that installs these units on many of the DC transmission line systems that they construct. This training included a system overview, concepts, setup and configurations, tower file setup, installation and pre-commissioning.
