Electricity Transmission Rehabilitation Project – Training Component

The objective of this project was to undertake major rehabilitation of the Kazakhstan Electrical Transmission Grid. Part of the scope of work included the rehabilitation of 63 substations and the replacement of all relay protection equipment in the system.

MHI provided software and training to the KEGOC planning and engineering staff. In addition MHI provided technical assistance for the preparation of procurement documents used for the replacement of high voltage apparatus and relay protection equipment
