Institutional Training Support Program
The overall objective of this project was to provide training in Uganda and in Canada for staff of the UEB, in various disciplines related to electric utility management and operations. MHI provided training to economists and statisticians in the “Tariffs and Statistics” and “Corporate Planning” units with the principle of tariff rate designs. During the UEB staff attachments in Canada, they received additional training in Tariff Design and Cost of Service from their counterpart staff at Manitoba Hydro.
