Energy Efficiency Technology Program Development and Implementation

The project contributed to Brazil’s energy efficiency program by transferring MHI’s knowledge and experience in energy efficiency, marketing and technology, to PROCEL, an associated institution in Brazil. Project Components included:

• Implementing a national energy efficiency (E.E) trademark program
• Improving PROCEL’s evaluation of E.E. programs.
• Improving PROCEL’s high efficiency motors (HEM) program.
• Designing and implemented public water and sewage sector E.E. programs.
• Designing and implemented public/commercial building sector E.E. programs.
