What we are looking for:

  • A Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering student, preferably in their third of fourth year of studies with knowledge in Power Systems.
  • Experience with using PSS®E /PSCAD™ software to create, modify, and simulate cases is considered an asset.
  • A willingness to develop basic power system models in PSS®E and PSCAD™ simulation platforms and willing to learn basic details of modelling assumptions applicable to each platform.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Must be a self-starter capable of organizing and carrying out assignments with minimum instruction/supervision.
  • Knowledge of power system simulation is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment with effective use of time management skills.
