As of April 2008, MHI received approval to create a new division to accommodate W.I.R.E. Services (WS).
W.I.R.E. Services provides thermal rating and re-rating solutions to the Electrical Utility Industry by using the accurate airborne LiDAR Survey technology provided by their partner LiDAR Services International (LSI) of Calgary, AB.Since its creation in January 2001, W.I.R.E. Services has experiences significant transformation and growth. Over the past 7 years, W.I.R.E. Services has worked for more than 20 clients and continues to do repeat work for almost 80% of them.

One of the most beneficial outcomes of this amalgamation is the possibility of marketing product and service offerings to each other’s clients. The list of potential benefits is long and will continue to develop and expand as time goes on.
