Manitoba Hydro is pleased to announce the appointment of Christine Schwab as Senior Managing Director of Manitoba Hydro International (MHI).

Christine has been serving in the position on an interim basis since March 2025. During that time, her strong leadership and strategic direction have been instrumental in supporting MHI’s operations and helping to further define the organization’s long-term objectives.

“Over the past eight months, Christine has guided MHI through a period of growth and rebuilding with focus, collaboration, and clear vision,” said Hal Turner, Chief Operating Officer, Manitoba Hydro. “Her leadership has strengthened the organization and positioned us for continued success in a rapidly evolving energy landscape.”

MHI, a subsidiary of Manitoba Hydro, provides innovative energy solutions and consulting services to clients around the world. Under Christine’s leadership, MHI will continue to build on its reputation for technical excellence, sustainability, and client service.
