The Government of the Northwest Territories retained MHI to review hydrology and climate change related to the North Slave system. MHI was asked to assess whether drought is expected to become a more regular occurrence in this region. In addition, MHI examined potential solutions to prevent rate shock or fuel subsidies when future droughts occur on the North Slave system. MHI summarized its findings in a report for the Northwest Territories Power Corporation.
