MHI was successful in their bid to design and deliver power markets tariff design and settlements training to system planning experts (engineers, economists, market regulators, and related disciplinarians) drawn from the ministries responsible for electricity, power utilities, and relevant power development agencies in Nile Basin Initiative member countries.

The training is focused on equipping participants with the principles, techniques, models, and templates used in power market transmission and generation tariff design and transaction settlements. The training will take place in Kigali, Rwanda in mid February 2010.
