The Diplomatic Quarter (DQ) in Riyadh accommodates the foreign embassies to Saudi Arabia, including the Canadian embassy. The DQ is situated on the edge of a drainage valley, called Wadi Hannifah and is a major feature of the history of Riyadh. The designers of the DQ incorporated walking trails with fountain gardens around the perimeter of the DQ and overlooking the Wadi.

There are 2 trail loops (7.5 km and 15 km) with an option to do a crossover of both loops (12 km). The trails are designed with many rock and concrete structures to explore and some rises to give great views of Riyadh. It is a great oasis from the surrounding desert, with a Starbucks too!
